Project Description
I worked for iCORE during my internships as the Communications Assistant. Every year, iCORE hosts a Summit conference at the Banff Centre to gather the world-class researchers that iCORE funds to present research and exchange ideas.

iCORE needed image banners for their new researchers that were consistent with the existing web banners on their web site.

I designed three web banners for iCORE: they were challenging because I had a very limited number of photographs of the researchers to work with, and the banners were at a 1:3 ratio, which made cropping the photos difficult.

I was able to retained each iCORE researcher as the focus of the banner, while introducing their work in simple terms (as simple as I could make them without loosing what each researcher considered a proper definition of their work).
