Project Description
I worked for iCORE during my internships as the Communications Assistant.

Every year, iCORE hosts a Summit conference up in Banff. The Summit exists to gather iCORE researchers and their teams and get them to present and exchange ideas, and to collaborate across their fields of research.

iCORE needed a web site that could list the Summit details (speakers, poster contests, presentations, etc.) and could allow each researcher and research team member to register for the Summit.

In order to allow researchers and their team members to register for the summit, I created a web form that utilized ASP to download information to an internal database.

As for the design of the site, I used green, white, and grey to keep with iCORE's colour palette and overall "fresh" feeling. I kept with iCORE's theme of "exceptional people, exceptional results" for the heading and imagery, and kept the top links clean and simple. I added "last updated on" text to let users know the last time the page was updated.
